ABOUT THE ROLE

Client is in the process of moving from on-premise azure to Linode platform. The role will require working directly with the Team Lead as a single Senior QA to perform different types of automated testing for back-end services.

Currently, there's a huge amount of tests to complete, build test plans collaborating with multiple teams; Engage with product, engineering, and leadership teams. Testing of REST APIs using REST Assured and Postman, SQL testing, Specs2 and will soon be implementing PyTest; K8s tools and CLI scripts. Currently, the work will not require any mobile or UI testing as it's purely focused in the back-end.

Designing and executing tests and procedures in order to identify system & software issues and their root cause

Reviewing application requirement documentation; designing, defining, and documenting test plans; transforming test plans into manual and automated test cases and executing those scenarios

MUST HAVES

5+ years of experience working as an automation QA

Back-end testing

REST APIs testing

SQL testing

Python testing

Strong experience with GitHub Actions

Postman

Overlap from 10am to 4/5pm GMT+2 (Israel time)

OFFER

6-month-term contractor position (no medical/paid leave) with the possibility to renew

Full-time dedication (40h/week)
